a fashion showcase

We'll be shooting at locations around the Dequindre Cut and Eastern Market. Our initial point of contact will be at Shed 5 of Eastern Market, 3740 Russell, Detroit 48207.

There will be a rally going on from noon-6pm at Shed 5 for Stand Up For Kids, a national charity that counsels homeless and street youth at risk. Later in the afternoon we will be holding a fashion show as a break in the shoot during the rally. Designers from the photoshoot and the models from the shoot will be part of the fashion show.

June 22 will be the 19th photoshoot for the project (things are a little out of sync on numbering). This is being addressed as the website is constructed.

Timeline for the photoshoot

9:00am - the makeup and hair team will gather at the shoot site to complete discussion of who is assigned to whom and review of the site. Photographers will work with the Artistic Director in establishing locations for shooting. The Talent Wrangler will be busy checking in talent. ALL COORDINATORS ON SITE. Designer 1 will arrive to prepare for phase 1. Please note there may be some changes to the final phases for the day based on conversation at the rally and timing of their activities.

PHASE 1 begins

9:15am - 9:30am - Models will be arriving and working with their assigned stylists and the designer to coordinate outfits, makeup and hair styling. 10:30am - Shooting for phase 1 is held with the first designer's clothing and all models that were present at 9:30am.

PHASE 2 begins

Designer 2 arrives and works with the Style Coordinator and models that checked in after the phase 1 check-in deadline. Noon - Shooting for phase 2 with designer 2.

PHASE 3 begins

1:30pm - Shooting for phase 3 with designer 3.

PHASE 4 begins

3:00pm - Prepare for fashion show at Eastern Market ALL talent (existing and new) interested in participating in the shoot should send their contact information to info@abandonedindetroit.com.
