a fashion showcase

The Abandoned In Detroit project and 313FAD are pulling talent together for a fashion show at Artist Village to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Blightbusters.org. We need designers, models, makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers, and interested public.

Call time for everyone is 4:00pm. We will be going through runway rehearsal, wardrobe assignments, makeup / hair styling, and the five hours prior to showtime at 9:00pm is going to pass quickly. This is a great creative community location that the project is aiming to partner with in a few ways. If you would like to be in at the ground-level of that activity THIS is the event to signup for.

Since the following day is our photoshoot we MUST have everything wrapped by midnight and get people home to sleep. Call time the next morning for the Sunday shoot is 9am at Eastern Market. Visit the event posting to learn more on that one. Leave a comment on it if you are attending.

Model Bag Contents

Please bring the following:

• Makeup foundation
• 4-6 pairs of heels 3" or taller
• A pair of gym shoes for casual wear
• Distressed jeans and 2 tank tops (one dark, one light color)
• A little cash for food, and makeup/hair tip money
• Optional Accessories - jewelry, handbag, sunglasses, hats

Note we may have time between 3-5pm as people gather to get a quick shoot in the garden of Artist Village.

Photographers attending will be asked for websize photos of photos taken, these may be watermarked and are for the model, project, event, and venue portfolio.
