September 14 location

The location has been set as the Dequindre Cut. The project shot along the cut from Jefferson north about a mile at various locations from July-September 2007. At that time the location was in a condition best described as urban prarie.

In the past year the abandoned railway has had the land cleared and a new blacktop path laid to create a new greenway recreation path leading from Jefferson to Eastern Market. Perfect for biking, roller blading, skateboarding, and jogging.

We are holding this shoot to prepare images to prepare for grand opening ceremony of the path by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. High on the list of fashion talent desired are designs that are for active life, sports use, and doing these in style. If you have a suggested contact for this shoot, please contact infoatabandonedindetroit [dot] com or call Stephen "Fuzzytek" at 248-632-6156.
